Philips OptimalTEMP 6000 Series Steam Iron (Red/Black)

The Philips OptimalTEMP 6000 Series Steam Iron is amazing to use. No need to constantly adjust a dial and wait for temperature changes. I tested the iron on a range of clothes from Satin to thick linen with no issues.

The Philips Optimal Temp 6000 Series Steam Iron is hands down the best iron I have ever used and owned. It irons so smooth and I love being able to go from one fabric to the next without having to adjust the temperature. I managed to iron my Daughter’s school uniform for the week in a fraction of the time that I would normally spend doing it. It is such an impressive iron that I would recommend to everyone and would 100% buy again. I’m definitely converted to this style of iron from now on. If you hate ironing then buy this iron as it will change your life.

Loved this philips steam Iron. This is amzing, it just gets warm so quickly and works on all kind of clothes. The good thing is, I didn’t had to worry about the settings when I did on different types of clothes. Works wonder as a steam iron and I would highly recommend for something lightweight and effective.

The steam iron is very good. I received the product but it was used product not new one. Still I used it and it was amazing. Wrinkles are gone in a second of time. I loved it and would recommend it to everyone

This iron is great! Easy- to-use amd most importantly DOESN'T burn your clothes! I used to struggle ironing the kid's school uniforms, my husband's work shirts and my mum's clothes (ethnic wear which must be ironed). This has made ironing so efficient without needing to change the temperature between fabrics. It's steam function is powerful and the iron itself glides over the clothes effortlessly removing all wrinkles in sight.

I found it to be a powerful iron that got the creases out easily. It was uncomplicated to use as you don’t have to fiddle with dials. It was so easy to use that my older father was able to use with ease. His only negative comments was how heavy he found it compared to his existing one.

This iron is beautiful, sleek design and nice to hold and use. Great features all round, iron without steam, iron with steam and also use upright to steam garments that are hanging. I live that it can do everything. Only down side is that the cord is a little short, would be better a bit longer

The Philips optimalTemp6000 is a relatable everyday steam iron that’s easy to use and gentle on most fabrics. Its standout feature is the optimalTemp technology, you no longer have to adjust the temperature settings and that reduces the risk of burning clothes. The steam output is strong enough to handle everyday items like shirts which crease very quickly and the glide is smooth. The iron did heat up very quickly and feels well built so doesn’t feel like a good solid product.

I’ve used the Philips 6000 series iron a few times now. It honestly works really well. It heats up quickly and the steam power is strong which removes wrinkles in seconds and easily. Love the optimal temperature setting which helps not having to adjust on different fabrics. The plate guides smoothly against the clothes. The water tank is also big enough to iron several clothes before having to fill up again. Bonus to it all, the safety auto shut off feature keeps your mind at ease in case you do forget to turn it off. Would definitely recommend!

I used the Phillips iron on a few items of clothing. It heated up quickly and made the ironing process easy. It is versatile and does a great job. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple to use and effective iron.

Whilst this iron is much heavier then ones I have used before. It is also easy enough to use still. I love how much water the tank holds and how easy it glides over my clothes and gets all of the wrinkles out with ease. This iron works well on those sensitive fabrics that cause more wrinkles then what they get out with normal irons and I found got them out pretty seamlessly with not much effort.

This iron is the most beautiful thing from the time you get it out of the box. I love the colours and also the feel. It’s nice and light and irons so well. You can move it around with so much ease.

This is a great iron. The steam trigger is so convenient. The nose is lovely and sharp, great for going around buttons. Fast heating and produced good steam with no drips. With an extra steam function for rough wrinkles. Cons include very short cord. You really need to use an extension lead. The water tank is very dark. While this looks very sleek, it's hard to see how much water is left. Overall a great product.

I absolutely love this iron. The design is very sleek and unique. The fact that it has auto temperature control is a plus point for me. Also the tank is quiet large which is impressive. The iron itself is very light but does powerful ironing. Only 1 improvement would be that it creaks abit which might make it sound cheap but the overall product is really good! I highly recommend it!

Tried using this iron which I have not used a traditional iron in years. I I have a steam wand for all my garments at home. Even though my existing steam wand is of higher cost and brand, it doesn't compare to using this iron from Philips. I thought I would test it on just a basic shirt of mine which was quite creased up. As soon as the iron was warmed up (as per instructions, once the light stops pulsing, then you're good to go), this iron worked like a charm. It instantly got rid of the creases without mush pressure or effort. This was a bigger win than I could have expected. I would definitely recommend this product if someone was looking for a new iron for home.

This is a really nice looking iron and feels good quality straight out of the box. The steam function works really well and helps smooth wrinkles quickly. One of my favourite things is not having to change temperature settings for different fabrics, which makes ironing much simpler. It glides nicely across clothes and produces plenty of steam. Overall it’s easy to use and does a great job leaving clothes smooth and wrinkle free.

The Phillips 6000 is fantastic. The OptimalTEMP feature makes ironing different clothing materials super easy , no changing the temp, no accidental miss haps, quickly moving from each garment effortlessly. I used it consecutively on linen, cotton and polyester without any issues. The auto turn off feature after 2min of non use is also great. The three steam options are great and also a no steam option. It does claim that no water marks/spills but mine did still drip a few water spots though nothing excessive.

Ironing is probably my least favoured chore but this iron made it so much easier. I was quite impressed by how quickly it heated up. I tried it on my linen shirt and was impressed with how easily it smoothed out the wrinkles in one go. I was most impressed with the fact that you don't need to change the setting every time you go from one type of fabric to the other. I loved that it was lightweight and didn't feel like I was doing an arm workout. Really impressed with this iron! Only downsize is that it doesn't come with a little jug for the water.

I tested this iron on a few of my garments but the biggest test was my most crinkly pants and it was magic. I had currently been using a garment steamer and it would be a slow process this ironed my pants crinkle free in no time. The design is comfortable to hold and not at all heavy even when filled with water. My only criticism is it didn’t come with a water cup to make it easy to fill without spillage. I was also a bit confused why the water holder of mine was already wet like it has been previously used. I had a video to upload however it would only allow photos unfortunately
