Philips PureProtect 2200 Series Smart Air Purifier (Silver White)

Our unit is on 24 hours a day has definitely benefited from its continuous use. The unit is ,"silent" whilst running but when we are cooking via gas cooker, the unit automatically "revs up". Excellent machine very pleased with our purchase.

So far, it appears to be working very well, and is meeting our current needs .

My family has always given me looks for how much I sneeze and cough inside. I would leave my windows open at night and around 2am would wake up in a fit of sneezes. Every morning was itchy eyes and a blocked nose. This solved what I accepted was just a fact of life. I've run this thing full pelt for 2 days, and not only is it quiet, it creates a good airflow wherever you put it. It has a build in particle reader so you can get an idea of how bad your air quality is. Ideally the reading should be between 1 and 12. It's light too and so easy to move. It confirmed that I was right! Daytime air reading with open doors and windows was 20 starting, goes down to 1 after running for a few hours in the centre of a large 4 bedroom house. The morning air reading when I started sneezing was 80! You can see the number spike when you cook around it, shake out a dusty doona etc. I've been sleeping better, waking up breathing through my nose. The most important thing, and why I bought it. I've had serious eczema these last 10 years. Skin peeling on my hands so badly they would crack and bleed just from closing. Small blisters called pompholyx or dyshidrotic eczema. Oily skin, waxy ears, redness on my face, stomach problems (constant reflux), hair shedding. I noticed my symptoms disappeared when I went overseas to colder/dryer climates. I restricted my diet and noticed that helped my symptoms, but could never quite match being overseas. This machine + lowering the humidity of my home, has cured me. And for that it's invaluable as it's given me my life back. I can now eat what I want, my itchiness and blistering is gone. If just for the sleep benefits I'd recommend it to anyone though.

Recommended by the store assistant. Unfortunately the assistant didn't come home to show me how it works. The printed leaflet with it is useless to someone my age 78. It has still not been used and I have now had it for a number of months.

this is a must have for anyone wiht hay fever, the best air purifier I have ever purchased, can be bit frustrating if you dont have wifi but other than that it is great.

I really love this product. We had a bigger air purifier in the same place, however we have found this one to be more efficient and less bulky. It is not loud. I love that it has a child lock feature because my toddler is constantly pressing all the buttons. The presentation of the air purifier is sleek and has helped keep my air cleaner.

I have been using air purifier’s for years and can happily say this one is top range. Not only is the touch screen easy to use, it’s powerful, quiet and makes the air clean and crisp. I suffer from hayfever and this air purifier has helped to clean my space making my symptoms decrease in my home. Highly recommend!

What an amazing product, the air is fresher in the house, less dust around house and cleared out things like perfume out of air quickly and senses the need for a higher level. Love this machine.

The Philips PureProtect Quiet 2200 is very quite and effective. I found my air quality to be much better while using this product. Downloading the app was easy and set up was hassle free. Very convenient to be able to control it through the app and monitor the air quality.

I absolutely love the Philips PureProtect Quiet 2200 air purifier! It is both very powerful when it detects that the air requires cleaning, but also very quiet in sleep mode, allowing us to sleep in a room with air feeling fresh all night long. The Philips Air+ app was a breeze to set up and to connect to the air purifier. Its scheduler options work perfectly so it can automatically go into Turbo mode right before the kid's bedtime and then turn off its light and go into sleep mode, keeping the bedroom air fresh all night. It also supports Google Home integration, so you can even change modes using your voice. I haven't had to clean the large HEPA filter yet, but the app has a handy feature that keeps track of the status of the filter and will remind you when it needs cleaning. All-in-all, it's a wonderful air purifier that works beautifuly, and I am now buying two more to place in other rooms of the house.

After only 12 hours of use, I could notice a significant difference in the quality of the air from the bedroom. It smelt fresher and was clearer. Being able to use the app remotely to change the settings was game changing as I could change this to suit the weather on the day before getting home. The medium setting had a nice hum to it, almost like white noise which was soothing at bedtime as well as the dim light settings. Very easy to clean, just by pulling the bottom piece off. All connected with WiFi, which was an easy set up. Given it it is spring, my hayfever is usually quite bad and I haven’t had to take any antihistamines whilst this has been in use.

I have a golden retriever that spends most of his time inside and have always had an air purifier to try to keep the house smelling fresh and thought it was doing a good job but I was wrong. The Philips pureprotect quiet does an amazing job and removing pollutants and smell from the house. It’s very quiet and has a sleek design. The app is easy to set up and nice to see the machine doing work.

I really like this air purifier, I would definitely recommend anyone buying this apart from not being unable to connect via the app. I think if I was able to do that I would have rated it more than 5 stars. I had one room that had this lingering smell that Is now gone since using it in that room.

I could not recommend this product enough! It is a very tough time of the year for allergy sufferers and this product really does ease the hay fever burden. It is easy to use, has convenient app control, has fully customizable smart scheduler and absolutely does exactly what it promises. My home has felt cleaner and fresher for the last week and I will be using as much as possible as I can’t imagine being without it now. I am very sensitive with cooking smells and this purifier automatically detects and counteracts smells and ramping up the fan as required, taking no time at all to get the house back to fresh and clean air. Its design is aesthetic and sleek - love appliances that work great and aren’t an eye sore. Its standby lighting fits easily in the home and adjustable. Once again, absolutely recommend this product! You will not be disappointed!
