Whether it's after breakfast, first thing in the morning, after dinner, or right before bedtime, have your kids brush their teeth thoroughly two times per day. As per ADA 2019 guidelines, toothpaste should always be used under the supervision of a responsible adult. Have them apply a small, pea-sized amount to a child-sized soft toothbrush and brush gently up and down and round and round for about 2 minutes for a healthy mouth and strong teeth. Brushing for two minutes means brushing the teeth in each section of the mouth for approximately 30 seconds.
