Disappointed: PowerA Warranty & Q/C is JUNK!

At no fault of JB, the Quality Control of this PowerA product and warranty process with PowerA has left me underwhelmed and disappointed. Splurged out and picked up the PowerA OPS V3 but replaced under warranty soon after purchase (via the manufacturer direct, not JB) as the controller would not connect to the PowerA PC app, which hindered the ability to troubleshoot a bigger problem - the triggers. I initially thought the triggers were (out of the box) preset on the sensitive side, but the inconsistency between the two triggers hinted at faulty trigger hardware. What was happening was - even with deadzones removed/zeroed, 75% of physical trigger pull equalled 100% of actual controller input (on the right side) and about 85% (on the left). And yes - the trigger locks were set off. At least the replacement controller was able to connect with the app, but the trigger issue was exactly the same as the first! Some buttons on this replacement seem to "double tap/input" despite attempts not to as well. Clearly poor quality control with the controller hardware. The actually warranty process with the manufacturer was frustrating to, via email the responses were generic and clearly foreign/bot/AI. It took a week of back and forth until a non-bot reply that finally understood the matter, assisted in somewhat eventually offered a warranty replacement (which in fairness to them, arrived super quick). Only positive worth noting is that the controller itself feels nicely weighted and nice in the hand. But two dud controllers and poor warranty communication will make it hard to purchase another PowerA product again. PS: as mentioned all troubleshooting and warranty problems were with PowerA themselves and NOT JB HiFi.

Above average hall-effect controller

Been using this controller for over 10 days now, everything appeared and worked as advertised, well mostly. Downsides are the shorter than expected USB-C cable (1.5m), no face buttons mapping, and minor non-centering of thumbsticks when not touched (calibrations through the PC HQ Controller App didn't fix this).

Elite controller on a budget

for the price you can't go wrong, hall effect sticks and triggers, having the option of 2.4ghz wireless and bluetooth. The 4 extra back buttons and the trigger adjustments for FPS games helps as well, save some money if you're looking at getting an Elite controller for PC and get yourself one of these instead!
