I really wanted to love this 3L Philips pitcher, but it has fallen short on a few fronts. First, the unit started leaking from the base within just 3 weeks of use and will have to be replaced. Second, the 3-litre capacity is noticeably too small for normal family water consumption, requiring constant refills. Finally, the filter longevity is wildly overstated; it realistically only lasts up to 3 months rather than the advertised 6 months. It is convenient but has major reliability and capacity issue

Hating the taste of my areas tap water and uncomfortable with buying water in plastic bottles, this gadget has really exceeded my expectations. Relatively cheap, very easy to use and makes my nasty tap water quite palatable. I just hope I can still get the filters when I need them in the future.
