Why no extended warranty for me ?

Had it for a week now and I'm really happy with it. I charged it for a day before using it and it's still operating (I use it twice a day). It's really poor though that there is no charging indicator light considering it's not the 'entry level' brush in the range. Not sure if anyone else tried to register for the 'extended warranty' mentioned on the website, but I did and I had no luck. I entered the 4 digit 'type code' as instructed and it wasn't accepted. Tried a couple of times with no luck, so I rang the contact number on the website. My call was answered promptly (almost a miracle these days !!) and I was told that my PRO 100 "was one of the cheaper models and only the more expensive models are covered by this extended warranty". It begs the question then, why don't they mention this somewhere on the registration page ??? Not sure if big corporations monitor (or take any notice) of constructive reviews, but let's hope they do. In summary, the brush is working well to date, just wish it had a charge light and the extended warranty matter is a frustration.
