Prunelax is a Senna leaf laxative. It works by increasing bowel movements and liquid levels in faeces. Prunelax restores and maintains effective and natural bowel regularity, relieving constipation in a smooth, fast and predictable way.

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 or 2 tablets before bedtime.Children under 12 years: Consult your healthcare professional for advice.

Each tablet contains Sennosides B 15mg (from Senna alexandrina leaf extract powder 75mg), Natural plum extract, for flavouring purposes only.

Before using laxatives, drink plenty of water and increase your fibre intake. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking Prunelax. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea are present. Prolonged use of any laxative is undesirable and may cause serious bowel problems. Keep out of reach of children. Use in children under 12 years is not recommended. Do not use if the blister pack aluminium is broken. Store below 30C.
