Pure Active Charcoal Cleansing Gel

Left my skin feeling refreshed and cleaned. Only need small amount and it lathers well. It has a cooling effect which feels great after use. It does not leave charcoal mark. Only thing is, my face feels tight a bit after use but in a good way. I think I need moisturizer after use. I would definitely recommend this product to others and is quite affordable. Will definitely buy this product.

This product is effective at cleansing the skin and you can feel and see the results. This product unfortunately smells terrible when applied. The product leaves a spray and wipe smell on your skin that is not particularly pleasant.

Overall not a bad product. A little goes a long way. Left my skin feeling fresh. Couldn’t double cleanse with this in the morning as it would dry out around my nose so would only double cleanse at night and had to use something different to remove mascara.

The bottle is a good sized amount and will last ages but is very narrow and I found it difficult to stand and pump in the shower without it falling over or needing to be held. The black colour was a little off putting at first but I was fine after the initial surprise. The wash felt lovely on my skin and seems to keep blackheads away like it suggests. However the chemical/bleach like smell is very strong and confronting. I never got used to the odour. I also got a sty while completing the trial, unsure if it is related but I'd never had one before.

One of my new favorite facewashes. Gentle on the skin. Does give a little cooling effect as you clean. The first two weeks off using a had mad out breaks of pimples but after the third week they have all but gone. My hair line is the worst and I have managed to get them under control.

Garnier’s active Charcoal cleaner is great for people to reduce appearance of black heads. The charcoal particles gently massages out oil from your pores and removes existing blackheads as well as prevent future black heads. The cleanser is not drying after usage and I would highly recommend this.

Products were great at cleansing and cleaning my skin, i used to use this brand religiously when I was younger, Definately will be sticking to it

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I can honestly say my skin looks amazing. My face honestly hasn’t had any blemishes since using this cleanser. A little goes a long way and I usually only need to use one pump. It foams up incredibly well and feels nice and fresh on my skin. It has a slight menthol scent and leaves that cooling feeling on my face when I use it and I like how clean my face feels after each use. This is a really great cleanser that I’ll be continuing to use.

I loved that this product didn't sit heavy on the skin. The addition of charcoal to a cleanser was something a little different and interesting! The zing after application was refreshing but not irritating, and my skin felt pleasantly tight without looking flushed. Definitely resulted in cleaner pores, will be purchasing again.
