Disappointed

The keyboard itself is amazing. The build quality is excellent, the switches feel great, and the adjustable actuation is the main reason I bought it. Unfortunately, Razer Synapse 4 is a complete mess. The software doesn't properly save per-key actuation settings, which is one of the biggest selling points of this keyboard. The only way I can get the actuation to save is by setting every key to the exact same actuation point. The whole reason I bought this keyboard was so I could do things like have WASD at 0.1mm for fast movement, while setting keys like grenade, gadgets or ping to a higher actuation to avoid accidental presses. Synapse 4 simply won't save those individual key settings, making one of the keyboard's best features unusable. What's even more frustrating is that Synapse Web works perfectly and saves the actuation settings correctly. The problem is that it doesn't support custom Chroma lighting profiles, so you're forced to choose between working actuation settings or custom RGB. I've tried reinstalling Synapse, restarting my PC, different USB ports and other troubleshooting, but nothing fixed it. The hardware deserves 5 stars, but the software lets it down completely. Until Razer fixes Synapse 4, I can't recommend buying this keyboard if you plan on using its adjustable actuation features.
