Razer Tartarus V2 Mechanical Gaming Keypad

I've gone through 6 of these in the last 5 years. the switches on the thumb stick are what break every time. I've swapped the broken ones out for new ones when they've broken but I'm now getting tired of it and each new one seems to have maybe a years life in it. don't waste your money or time with this product

I was skeptical of this unit but at under 150 i was willing to try. Honestly this is great i like controllers and this bridges the gap between controller and keyboard. Its been great for arc raiders. Its worth the gift or try out.

Exactly suits my needs. Great transition from controller to keyboard being able to use the thumbstick for movement instead of wasd

wasn’t what i expected it to be, the thumb stick is a dpad not an actual analog thumb stick.

Absolute garbage. Stuffed with RGB instead of functionality. 'joystick' is a lousy moulded D pad. Most keys are too close to the palm rest unless you have tiny hands. Palm pad is low durability. Build quality overall feels like a $5 keyboard

I have the old Belkein product (which razer bought the rights to many years ago) Mecha-membrane keyboard is surprisingly nice to the touch and press. Softer sounding when compared to full mechanical switches. It does work straight out of the box but you won't be able to change any key assignments or make any changes to the back lights. However, you will want to download and install Razers' "Synapse" software. Once done you can completely customise all key assignments plus a plethora of lighting options (lots of fancy schemes and dynamic light patterns)

Look, I'm a hefty fellow with a huge appetite for Cool Ranch Doritos. I go through at least two bags a day while playing my favorite game, Fortnite Battle Royale. I wouldn't consider myself a pro, but I'm pretty good at waiting during the loading screens. Anyway I eat so many doritos that my normal keyboards get clogged up and stop working after a while...But not this one! The LED back light makes the crumbs glow in fancy colors and the switches keep clickity clacking no matter how much I slap the keys when I die. I cherish my Tartarus, along with my full-size Naruto Body pillow.

They must have downgraded the quality or something looking at these other reviews. Ive used it for maybe 15-20 hours and the joystick is already loose and wobbly. great concept but not really that ergonomic either and its not really a joystick, more like a d-pad

Keys were too clicky not what I was expecting, aside from that very competitive keypad and good for people coming over from console that want ease of use and a mouse and keyboard experience on PCCG FOR CHEAPER.

Easy to configure, comfortable to use, quick to get used to, I like that I can have multiple profiles and it fits in my laptop bag and doesn’t take up much desk space.

Really good and sturdy. I can keeping in a backpack for gaming on the go. Fits well in the hand with the adjustable wrist rest (2 step, could have had more). Takes a bit of getting used to as all the keys are in lines rather than in the standard offset keyboard pattern so some keys are harder to hit than others such as Z and X. I bypassed that issue by using the Razer Hypershift that can add another key input to each key. The keypad is very customizable with the synapse program and you can have up to around 5 different setups per user and you can have multiple users.

As with most Razer products, this device is sturdy and comfortable. Having used it for a couple of weeks, I now wish I had got the version 2 Pro with the advanced features, as it would suit my gaming style more. Having said that the Tartarus V2 is still a handy edition to the gaming peripherals I have. It certainly cut down muscle fatigue in my left hand and shoulder and the extra spread of the keys is about right. Programming it is easy with Razer Cortex and Synapse software. I've found I still need to use the traditional keyboard in-game. However if I had the Pro version I probably wouldn't need it.

Love it! The keys seem reinforced, so hopefully I don't smash the buttons out of use on this one!

Buttons are great to press, the wrist rest is very comfy being padded. Good size and shape for me hand to easily access all buttons. Still feel like it's over priced without being on sale (but i guess that's my perspective)

Great for Fps and Mobas not so much for Mmos. Playing PC games from the coach, a full size keyboard was too big for a lap table so the Tartarus suits me to a perfectly.

Took a bit of time getting used too it at first , but I love it. I play a lot of MMO's especially WOW and the Keypad has made it easier for me so much so I struggle without it

I’m actually a professional photographer and purchased this in hopes it would help make my editing workflow faster. It has done just that!! The amount of time this little keyboard has saved me already has been substantial. I am very happy I bought it and would recommend it to other photographers / editors.

I was after a game pad to use with my graphics art software and was tossing up between this one and another cheaper brand. I eventually decided to purchase this one after going through numerous online reviews and am extremely happy with it. It is very versatile and with over 40 configurable keys it easily copes with all the macros and shortcut keys I use with the software. I would highly recommend this model to anyone looking for something similar.

Bought this for my partner. He loves it thinks it’s a great addition to his gaming set up. Hasn’t faulted it.

Build quality is awesome and the buttons feel great to use

This has done wonders, I play CS GO very often and for long periods and I could not recommend this more, the membrane feel with a satisfying mechanical click, really holds well for long gaming sessions with the palm rest, would highly recommend. It is also extremely responsive

Sooo bad it broke in a week and you have to put the keys together
