Limit initial use to once in every 3 nights, gradually increase frequency to every day and night if tolerated. Smooth evenly over cleansed face and neck. Avoid layering multiple retinol products on top of each other. Use with a UV product in the daytime.

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes with water. If skin irritation develops, discontinue use. If skin irritation develops, reduce frequency or discontinue use. Use with a sunscreen product and limit sun exposure. Some may experience dryness, skin flaking, mild redness and/or tingling which are normal, temporary and indicative of product effectiveness. If discomfort continues, reduce use to once every other day before reverting to daily use or discontinue the use. For sensitive skin, limit to 2X per week and slowly increase to daily usage

Good introduction to retinol

After seeking out a Retinol moisturizer for night wear I settled on the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Cream as it had a good price point and I have been a fan of Olay moisturizers in the past. I've been using this for many months now and have been happy enough with it. The size means you get a lot of product for your money and while I have not noticed any dramatic differences in my skin, it has certainly maintained my skin throughout both the winter and summer months. Overall my skin looks more even coloured with dark and dry patches largely disappearing and I haven't had many pimples. I do think perhaps my pores have become more prominent which might be a sign that my skin in general is a bit more plump. One thing I don't particularly like about the texture of the cream - it is a bit tacky and sticky in feeling which can be a bit off-putting before going to bed.

Gentle Retinol Night Moisturiser

The Olay Regenerist Night Moisturiser comes in a plastic 50g tub with twist off lid. The white cream is fragrance free which is a plus for those that prefer it. I'm not bothered either way. I've been using only at night and have not had any adverse reactions. I'm not sure how scientifically true it is but I feel that Retinol in a moisturiser tends to be gentler than a serum. Having it in a cream also means that I can use a different active in my serum (as long as it doesn't interact or counteract with the retinol) without overdosing on the Retinol. It absorbs quickly. My skin is looking nice and smooth. Yes I'd recommend and would repurchase this product.
