At night, apply to clean, dry face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Let dry completely to reduce any colour transfer before rest. Start with 0.05% strength which is ideal for retinoid beginners or those with sensitive skin. Use 2-3 times a week to start, gradually increasing frequency to every night, as tolerated. When you have finished the bottle of 0.05%, you can move up to 0.1%. Even if you were using 0.05% every night, go back to using the 0.1% only 2-3 times a week to start, gradually increasing frequency to every night, as tolerated. Once you've finished the bottle of 0.1%, you can move up to 0.2%. As before, when you increase in strength, you need to allow your skin to adjust to the increased potency so go back to using 2-3 times a week to start, gradually increasing frequency as tolerated. To maintain results and continue to see further improvement, when you have finished the bottle of 0.2%, you can buy a bottle of 0.2% individually to continue use.
