Wasted money over 10 years

I have been buying this lip liner for over 10 years and just realized that, it stops working after maybe 2 weeks, it doesn't come up anymore, I was curious and broke it in half, half of it was still inside the casing, mind you I only use it once per day, me thinking I used it up only to realize that I have lost so much money buying this product that stops working midway.why is their attach image part not working?
