4 cup rice cooker

A nice sleek compact design but the listed capacity is misleading. The rice cooker only fits 4 cups of uncooked rice and not the 8 cups as advertised. The "cup capacity" appears to be calculated by adding the amount of water required for cooking (4 rice + 4 water). It is a good size for a couple or small family and I am happy that the insert bowl is ceramic nonstick coated without PFAs. The cleanup is a little cumbersome with several plastic parts to disassemble in the lid and I am a little concerned about how these plastic parts will fare over time as they seem a little fragile. The bowl is top rack dishwasher safe which is a plus. Points deducted for misleading size and the multiple parts of the lid that require cleaning after each use.

Great rice cooker

Making rice and other grains is now really simple and clean up is so much easier. I love that this is pretty much PFAS free and that it keeps rice warm for me. Definitely recommend it.
