Disappointed 7.
Kettle makes water taste like plastic :(

Firstly the toaster in this combo is great, easy to use and clean. But the kettle is BAD, i hadn't realised the actual kettle was a plastic one when i ordered this combo. The first time i used the kettle after washing it thoroughly was so disappointing, the water tastes so badly of plastic its undrinkable. I tried boiling lemons in it, no change. Tried white vinegar again no change. rewashed it and reboiled and still smells and tasts badly of plastic. Contacted manufacturer and they said to return it to Myer for a refund as it should be like that. so now I have to make a trip to Myer and organise either a replacement or refund. Time consuming and frustrating :(

Great value

Looks great, all im black.gloss. Kettle left a funny aftertaste the first week of use but has now disappeared. Toaster fine. Value for money amazingly good, to buy separately at big w would have cost $60 more
