Funny versions of fairytales that we all know.

This is a book of rewritten fairytales that are pretty funny. They're written in rhyme, and not at all what we expect when we hear the titles. Kids will love these! It's also unabridged. That's probably the best part of all.

Terrible-Shame on Tonies

It’s soooo creepy, gave my daughter nightmares. She was terrified of every story. Shame on the for advertising this as a kids story toy.

Twisted tales

The stories are cute and I enjoy the “twist” they have compared to the original tales. The voice acting is good too. My oldest son (7y/o) enjoyed listens to this Tonie. My younger one (4y/o) thought it was just ok.

Brilliant, funny and tasteful.

Absolutely brilliant. This mum is chuckling out loud whilst her daughter listens to these stories which are absolutely perfectly and beautifully narrated by wonderful actors with great voices. Roald Dahl's rhymes are tastefully brought to life - thank you Penguin and Tonies!

Skip the first, then good.

My kids love tonnies and were super excited about this, as was I. First story talks about chopping off heads. Doesn’t matter if it’s original or not, it’s not appropriate for kids. They were so scared and didn’t want to listen to anything else.

This one just missed the mark; we’re reading a lot of Roald Dahl in book club, so I was hoping this would be of interest, but he doesn’t care for it at all.
