The nostalgia alone is worth more than $49. The simplicity is emancipating! No fingerprint , no face recognition, no GPS. You tell the phone what to do and it does it. Nothing hiding behind 2 factor authentication, no asking for your birth certificate and passport to use the device you paid for. NO subscriptions. It DOES have a FM radio that works subscription free, and is loud in speaker mode A MP3 music player and video player. Free to use ! It takes a memory card that you can put more songs on than you can listen to , subscription free! The nanny state is not following you when you have this phone. Bluetooth works excellent with my latest wireless earbuds and volume control on the buds and noise cancelling , call answer, all work. I love that you can setup auto on and off for any time of day. Battery , I haven't tested in full yet. But, with no calls and just listening to radio and playing with the menu it has used 1 bar in 3 days....And it has 5 bars! So my guess is a week between charges! A WEEK! Another cool thing is; you can memorise the menus , there are not that many. Camera is ok for $49 Not flagship quality but, get yourself a camera if you want to take good photos. This gives you good enough basic shots if you must absolutely take a photo. Its light and small, fits in any pocket with ease. Very responsive due to the light operating system. Does not get hot. Display is bright enough to see in direct sunlight. (Turn up the contrast in settings, its actually brightness) Reception is same as all phones, carrier dependant.

No notes app. Sim card holder broke before use and will not acknowledge Sim card. Not worth it

DO NOT BUY. I'm heading back to JB for a refund. It has been launched with so many bugs and faults e.g apps won't update, no clear use instructions, security functionality is faulty, can't download new apps and get them to work. it is extremely frustrating that the buying team at JB would even range this product - it is manufactured faulty. At the cheap price, it isn't even worth it due to the energy and time wasted having to go back and forth with the RUIO support team - who are not based in Australia.

This phone is rubbish. It is not child friendly as it is so difficult to use. It is unable to put contacts in only numbers and phone will guess the name!! No quick emergency call button and no calls successfully made on this phone. Don’t buy it.

Garbage phone!!! Had this phone for over 6 month and it keeps switching off and when you try to switch it back on, you have to take out the battery and put it back in to restart the phone!

A First purchase for me from JB HI-FI to buy a True 4G Mobile Phone & is not a 3G-4G Mobile I've had before the 3G went in 2024. This mobile phone is 4G only & is not 5G. Works with Amaysim that's Optus. The Bluetooth works great on the car radio. The torch works great on this mobile at night inside the House, Car & outside also. Charging is great including the battery. The radio is great also but you do need to use the headphone. You can set up your own ringtone you want to use from your old mobile if you want to. It vibrates also when ringing including answering this mobile also. It's a pity it does not have a mobile phone cradle charger that would be great.

Havent switched it on yet as I am waiting for The Powers That Be to switch off the 3G and then my long loved phone will stop and then I will be forced to utilise this excellent looking little 4G dumb phone
