Music keeps on cutting out

I purchased these a few months ago, initially I had to return them after a few weeks of use because they stopped working. JB Hi-Fi offered me a new pair, regrettably, I accepted. When using the earbuds the music keeps cutting out; this happens continuously, especially when doing workouts such as running. The music always pauses and the volume always goes up and down. This is the first product iv'e purchased from sennheiser and i'm deeply disappointed.

Multiple random pauses

Frequent random pauses on its own ruin the listening experience and make these frustrating to use. The touch controls are also inaccurate and hard to handle. However the sound quality is decent. I would not recommend this product.

Good sound, but worrible design.

The sound quality is pretty good for the price. But this is by far the dumbest design so far. 1. You have touch controls on the headphone that can change volume, pause / play, or next / previous. This is fine. 2. There is no way configure or disable the crap from above. 3. If im watching a show, and i make a wrong move, the episode gets skipped. Thanks to the silly control that cannot be disabled.

Good sound, constant pausing.

Sound quality is fine but constantly pauses due to the sensitivity of the smart pause function. I’ve retuned one pair already as I couldn’t listen at all. These new ones can be fine for a few days and then it plays up again for a day or two. Makes them unlistenable.

Horrendous pair of earphones

No way of turning off touch controls. It randomly pauses and starts music because it wrongly detects you've touched it. And if you try to adjust it in your ear it's almost guaranteed to pause. Try really should provide a way of turning this feature off, but with this particular model there is no way of doing that and they don't have a compatible app for it.

Love my new earsbuds

An excellent product at an excellent price. It was a very smooth and quick connection to my iPhone 16 pro max and the voice quality was good.

Style over Substance: Beautiful but Impractical

I bought these a year and a half ago for the design and fit, but they aren't practical for daily use. The material is way too slippery; I’m constantly dropping the case and the buds because they have no grip. They are so light that you can't feel them slipping out of your ears until they hit the ground. Another dealbreaker is the 20% battery alert. It’s a loud, piercing beep that happens regardless of your volume level—not great if you like to wear them to fall asleep. Despite the cute design, I’ll be looking for a different brand next time.

Beyond Expectations

The Sennheiser Accentum Open completely exceeded my expectations, especially in terms of sound quality. I actually prefer this style over closed in-ear buds because I find the closed design less comfortable for long listening sessions, so I went in already leaning toward open earbuds, but I didn’t expect them to sound this good.

Would not reccommend.

Good sound/base but when you move your jaw, earbuds become dislodged, the range from device to earphones is very short and will cut in and out, bad design when it comes to cleaning. Connects to multiple devices instantly playing music no matter the sound and is not recognised on the Sennheiser app. When you turn the sound all the way down, then up one you get 1% sound then one more notch up takes you to 15% sound, very big difference, no gradual increase.

Not good for exercise or running.

Probably the worst earphones I've purchased. Very uncomfortable plastic in ear that does not sit nicely. If you go running or even a brisk walk, they fall out of your ears. There is no noise cancelling whatsoever. I can have a clear conversation with someone when music in my ears. I have to throw them away because unless sitting still, they are not functional. Be careful of all the other reviews - they are sponsored.

Nice product

I bought these because my Samsung earbuds broke, and these were a cheaper but decent replacement. I got them while they were on special so I got what I paid for. The battery really lasts a while - I lost one for over a week, and when I found it, it was still on 70% battery (I don't know much about earphones but that seems really good to me). These are also great for workouts as the sound quality is nice so unlike cheaper earphones I can still blast music in my ears while being able to hear the songs properly. Overall, they are really good earphones and I don't regret purchasing them.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Regret wasting my money on these. Earphones would randomly pause, so annoying always having to press play again, also sound is super quiet for no reason.

Useless

Right earbud does not work. It will not turn on or respond to resets. Taking back tomorrow for a refund. I was also charged $89 when the sticker on the front of the box says $47

DO NOT BUY THIS

Worse than JBL. Sound very bad and not clear at all , not comfortable to wear and very easy to slip off from ears,

Waste of money

Very poor fit. No proper adjustment at all for ears. Audio range is too bad, its either too low or too high. Not reliable to pick and end calls. Will not recommend at all.

The sound is good

The sound is good. I dropped several times but the bass is still working well. But sometimes when I started to use, it suddenly paused and interupted my hearing experiences. That was quite irritating.

Good audio, but bad touch controls + broken volume

I bought these as a replacement earphone for my daily walks, with the open design being a plus so I can easily hear around me but I wanted better quality sound. These Accentum’s fortunately seem to do pretty decently in that regard, and while it may be a little heavier on the bass side it’s definitely still Sennheiser’s signature sound quality but unfortunately there’s a couple of caveats. 1. It might just be my weirdly shaped ears but these seem to be on the verge of falling out and do not seat in your ears well, even when walking slowly or sitting. 2. The touch controls have got to be the most inconsistent I’ve encountered yet, often taking 5-10 taps to register anything. 3. The big deal breaker; It seems Sennheiser’s history with inconsistent volume on their wireless products on Apple devices continues to persist in the Accentum Opens (I have the iPhone 12 Mini’s, latest IOS as of review). For some reason, the minimum audio settings on these is quite loud, roughly around 70-80% of other sennheiser headphones I have… and this is at 5% on the IOS volume slider! If I go any lower it suddenly sounds like it’s actually at sub 5% volume, but obviously that’s too quiet to actually listen to properly. Because of that last negative point I will not recommend this product.
