Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 (Black) Over-Ear ANC Headphones

I have had good experiences in the past with the simple wired Sennheiser headphones. But these Momentum 4 have changed that. What a waste of money. I had bought two - both after about 6 months intermittently started buzzing, squealing, or popping, quietly as well as loudly, in the right ear. Don't waste your money.

Terrible build quality. Bought a new pair less than 3 weeks ago and it’s already fraying at the edges.

The ear pads are easily removable just pull them with your finger on the plastic lip inside the ear cup pull firmly on the ear pads to remove and clean them, the sound is good!!! I was playing donkey Kong Bananza on Nintendo switch on full volume and the sound with the Sennheiser Momentum 4 was really amazing! For music I use sound booster spinner volume booster app on playstore and the sound is good at enhanced volume with eqs enhancement with the momentum 4! I am very satisfied with the quality of the hardware and sounds produced by my Sennheiser momentum 4!

Purchase arrive earlier than advised and exactly as described and work fantastically with the app and was exactly what I was looking for Sennheiser you never fail to please me

After using these only a handful of times in an air-conditioned office - the right ear developed annoying static and squelching - which after searching online - found it was a common fault in relation to moisture and a defective ANC mic. Will be returning. What a shame - for half the RRP I would have expected better.

So far so good, great sound and comfort, and easy to use and setup

The headphones are comfortable and clear but they are buzzing regularly - I'm assuming it's because of the Bluetooth receiver because my old Sennheiser headphones never had the same issue when I used them for a similar purpose.

Far superior than I expected for both sound and built quality.

The sound is Good but the headphones start hurting After a couple of Hours

The product looks way cooler than how it behaves, the battery overall it's excellent, but the continuous hiccups with the connection is annoying, you are listening to a song then the quality of sound drops then after 5 to 10 seconds it's back again to good quality, I don't know but I think you've to do something about that.

These headphones are fantastic. The sound is amazing and the features are easy to use and they look and feel very comfortable.

Got a great deal in the sales and I’m so happy. Love Sennheiser anyway but haven’t had a set for years after my dog chewed the last set. These are so good. Great sound easy to use, connecting to multiple devices, I didn’t know what I was missing. Looking forward to using these on my next flights too as they connect wirelessly to my devices or with cable to the plane connections, best of both worlds. Love them already.

I bought these to help focus in a noisy work environment. They are exceptional. Noise cancelling is very good. Surprisingly comfortable around the ears. Great sound.

does the job slips off at the gym the noise canelling feautre does not work the ear touch is either not sensitive enough of too sensitive so the phones switch off when touched or do not respond when tapped

These worked great for a month or so until an awful repetitive clicking sound started occurring every time I turned them on. Absolute waste of money. I realise they were only on sale most likely because of this audio defect.

1 star for good sound - when they work Otherwise - as many mention - ridiculous smart features barely work as intended. The one button it has will usually not function as you intend. You will sooner put these into pairing mode before they ever turn off. WHO GETS RID OF AN ON/OFF BUTTON. Touchpad rarely responds to the desired input. If they are resting around your neck, touchpad will go bezerk. None of this was an issue on my PXCs. Sennheiser going backwards while the price goes skywards. Finally, 2.5 years later, a commonly reported static sound in the left ear leaves them "not feasible to repair" according to Sennheiser. There are workarounds online to remove certain sensors and override settings, if you are game & at your peril. Sadly, these are going in the garbage. So called premium technology with features you don't care for/didn't ask for and leave what was a decent sounding headphone now obsolete waste. For the sake of "smart" features that simply don't work. Innovation gone backwards.

Amazing headphones, work perfectly and sound is fantastic

Great sound quality and comfort, the max volume is not that loud for the rare occasion I'd like it to be.

Bought these for a trip, on the plane were fantastic. 10hrs on plane, very comfortable, sound great noise cancelling was superb

I've been living with these headphones for a few months and I want to throw them at a wall every day. The touch controls are useless, the sound quality is nowhere near as good as the so called unbiased reviews say. For no reason they randomly pause and unpause. They randomly connect to devices nearby without being asked to. You can't tell if they're on or off. I absolutely hate them.

Within the first week of getting my first set I started getting static noises, had it returned for a replacement. A few months later the second set also got the static noises. I enjoyed these headphones for a while, but with both headphones getting the same issue I can't recommend it.

I bought this recently to replace a cheap generic Bluetooth set of headphones I had been using and I adore using them. While it was definitely a lot more than I initially wanted to pay, it really was buying for quality. It did take some time getting used to, especially since the back of the right headphone acts as the button, but I have adored using them and seamlessly transitioning from transparent to ACN when needed. The only hiccup is that, when I move the right headphone just slightly off of my ear (because sometimes I don’t like having both completely on, and I hear people a lot better through my right ear instead of my left) it is so sensitive it pauses the music, and you can’t use the back of the right earphone to pause/play, skip, or anything else. Beyond that, I adore using them, and they still feel so comfortable after wearing them for several hours, especially after adjusting the length for the headphones so they sit around my ears comfortably.

I have these for 2 months. The good: battery life, obviously. Nice, open sound. Comfy. App is o-kaaaay (see bad). Multi point connection - once you get that happening. The bad: noise cancelling is very poor - difficult to tell if it’s even on when standing on the street. EQ is garbage and bass boost is just fluffy rubbish. App has a bunch of options, but they’re mostly just useless. Touchup controls are very buggy, and they will start playing without my touching them; literally been in a meeting and they are on the table and randomly play music and everyone is like: wtf. If you get these on sale at $330 like I did, it wouldn’t hurt as much as the standard price of nearly $600, but I’d look elsewhere

Right out of the box, these headphones paired & performed as advertised. Take the headphones off, they turned off automatically. Put the headphones on, they automatically turned on. What an amazing feature. Two taps for ANC mode. Two taps for transparency mode. It couldn't be simpler. Then after 60 hours of continuous use & a full 2 hour recharge, these headphones will no longer operate as advertised and are about to be tossed in the bin or repeatedly smashed with a hammer. 3 second power on is now a 5 second "maybe" it will turn on. The 5 second bluetooth pairing is now a waste of time as they won't pair with any new device. After connecting with either a mobile, PC or TV, the headphones disconnect & 5-10 seconds later reconnect with an annoying "Connected" notification. This connect/disconnect doesn't stop. The "No Connection" warning only occurs when the bluetooth device is turned off while the headphones are connected. There are no indicator lights for the ANC or transparency modes. Based on the instruction diagrams, if your fingers are larger than a child's, you will have no chance in operating the touchpad features. When the headphones were able to stay connected for any period of time, the sound quality was either washed out, distorted or fluctuated as if an equalizer was actively switching between preset modes. After several hours or google searches & troubleshooting, these over priced piece of crap headphones were thrown against a brick wall, smashed with a hammer & will be making their way to landfill. If you're dumb enough to buy these, don't lean forward to tie your shoes as these headphones will immediately fall off your head.

Absolutely amazing. Previously had the top of the line Sony's which despite price only worked intermittently and Sony wouldn't take back to repair. These are by far and away the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn, and I didn't realise how important that was. Sound quality is absolutely mega again, based off this product I'll be Sennheiser for life everything else is just as good and a bonus, battery life, aesthetics etc.

Was excited to purchase and use them. First impressions were awesome sound and fit. They lasted a week before dying and having to be replaced.

SO MANY problems with these: -On/Off button that's unresponsive and has to be held down for 20 seconds to work -Frequently suddenly turning off by itsself while being used -Frequent velcro-like "tearing" distortion when playing audio, necessitating a restart -No display showing power level, noise cancelling mode, volume level etc -All above controls are operated by swiping on the side of the headphones, which is very UN-intuitive + difficult to work out whether you've done it successfully -Can only be "paired" to one device On the plus side, they look good 😭
