Signt Everyday Pan 28cm in Cerise

I'd been eyeing this pan for a very long time but was just waiting for a sale. Now that I have it, I am in love! This is essentially an enamel cast iron saute pan which excels at browning, heat retention and moisture reduction. I've used this pan for stove top to oven dishes like pasta bakes, roast vegetables, and braises like coq au vin, boeuf bourguinon, and osso bucco. It's excellent for smaller batches of bolognese sauce, as well as quick everyday pasta sauces. It doesn't come with a lid, so I purchased a 28cm Le Creuset glass lid which fits perfectly and is oven safe to a high temperature (220 or 250 degrees Celsius or something like that). This is so good for when you want the qualities of enamel cast iron, but don't want to deal with the weight of a big French oven.
