As a package it is an excellent option compared to just the single battery, considering it is the exact same price

again this is a battery that can be charged via a charging dock to any power point, devoid of the camera it simplifies the process. so you can continue to snap away and have a second battery ready to swap out of a minutes notice, once of cause the battery is charged and ready

Great product, has a nice little charging progress bar too.

Fantastic charger along with good battery life from these batteries. It extremely disappointing Sony don’t include these with the purchase of their cameras. You pay a premium amount for their high end cameras and they don’t even include a decent charger with them.

For anyone that has a Sony mirrorless camera it is so much better to have a charger rather than just a usb charger, and always handy to have a back but battery! Worth the money!

It's a good product but I feel it should be standard with the cameras as charging by USB cord is so user-unfriendly, I've never done it. On the product itself, one small gripe is that the battery fits so tightly that I struggle to clip it in or pull it our without some difficulty. You could literally swing the charger around your head and the battery would stay in place. If the design was open at the back a little more, it would be much easier to use. Overall though, good product.

There's not much to say here, it's a battery and charger. What's disappointing is that the charger isn't included in the purchase of the camera. Having to buy this separately was frustrating.

What's in the Box? NOT these external battery chargers. They are invaluable and they should (MUST) be sold standard purchase package when buying any Sony camera.

Bought online and picked up in-store. Works great, exactly what I needed, the extra battery is especially handy as the camera burns through the charge of just one quite quicky.

Does anyone else think it's absolutely ridiculous that these cameras don't come stock with these? Kinda miserly if you ask me. That being said, this charger works really well.

Bought this as an additional combination charger and battery pack for my Sony camera. Works great with power indicator and light indicators showing level of charge. Lightweight, small and portable. Easy to use

Having the charger included as part of the travel kit means not requiring to put the camera out of action during the charge period. The extra battery is a must for extended shooting sessions. It's definitely great value purchasing both charger + battery together as part of this kit.

The charger and battery pack is a must if you have the latest Sony a7 cameras (will save you having to charge via the camera). Battery charges relatively quickly. Behaves like it should.
