Sony Shooting Grip

It works as is but is extremely overpriced for what you get. It's literally just a camera grip with a record button/tripod. Not worth $199 (I got it for $99 thanks to a bundle discount, still wouldn't pay that much). Also non-rechargeable - has a small battery? Why wouldn't you just make this Type-C rechargeable like the matching camera(s). Only positive is that it's well made.

Received this as a bonus option, with the A6400, it was an excellent choice for and if you use your camera as a recording device for social interactions with your audience. It’s lithium battery powered, not rechargeable, with is a little annoying, but not the end of the world. Not sure about the longevity, but have a spare battery with you , if you plan to use regularly

I am not sure if it is good value. It is not long enough. You would not need unless vlogging yourself. To hold thd camera to vlogging yourself it is not that light weight either.

Fantastic additional option that I find essential. Controls are easily accessible and having the ability to use as a tripod has proven to be so worthwhile. It’s reliable and never had a lost connection. I always have this fitted to camera and the only reason I don’t is when I fit it to the DJi ronin sc2 gimbal.

Very good. Love it so far. Easy to use and sturdy feel.

I bought this couple weeks ago & works well with Sony Cybershot Rx100 VII
