Sony WF-1000X M6 Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds (Black)

I’m a great Sony fan..simply love the product… I would love increased my collection

I upgraded from an xm4 tonthe xm6 and I have to say: - they are notable more comfy for longer sessions of use - sounds better, not a gigantic jump but just enough to notice - the anc is even better while the noise filtering mode that passes through some (valuable) sounds while suppresses very loud or ongoing noises is pretty good - the tips material of choice seems to be a little better - the case is also easier to maintain and the pairing button is great. So far, I have not found a "con" to speak of, lets hope that the batteries are also better than the xm4's after a year.

I bought these buds on a whim whilst transiting through Changi airport. My WF-1000M4's have served me well but I thought it was time for an upgrade to a new model. No regrets, great product.

Tldr: not worth it, uncomfortable fit and poor controls. I researched about the best wireless earphones and these came up as number 1 (overall) on several websites. I do not notice enough of a difference between the quality of the sound or calls (or anything else) to make it worth it. The fit is awful and the controls are limited to left or right which is an issue as I usually only wear one at a time so they last the whole day + awareness (mostly battery though). I will say I have noticed some nice differences between my previous pair and this but honestly I regret buying this. It's too expensive. When I first wore it, it felt like it would fall out all the time. I have since gotten used to this (mostly just the different feeling) but I do actually need to adjust it frequently so it will not fall actually out. It is so large that putting my (long, if relevant) hair behind or pulling my hair in front of my ear will catch and dislodge it. Also due to its size, it looks stupid and I cannot lay in bed with it. I can only play/pause with right side and if I only have in left side I cannot play or pause. It is extremely frustrating that it does not recognise and adapt to this change of only one being used at a time as my previous pair did.

The earbuds have a great sound; clear and clean sound without too much bass. Ambient setting has improved greatly. Noise cancelling is pretty good but could be better.

I'll be honest, I haven't owned any top end ear buds, but that's because they generally sounded inferior to over ear options. But these sound smooth yet crisp, the kind of sound you only generally get with good headphones. The ANC is better than I expected for such small units. They ain't cheap, but in this instance, and if sound matters to you, it's worth it.

Do not buy, same quality as the cheap ones. Overly sensitive touchpads get set off by a light breeze. Noise cancelling does not work when running,g only for walking. Music still plays after you take them out. Does not hold a cnadle to Jabra

Is not fit for my ears even with the smallest tip. Sensitive on the sensor, does not really block all sound. But still good.

Always been a Sony fan and it keeps getting better. These WF-1000XM6 earbuds are great in every way and they are just gorgeous! Because they sound so good, you just wish there were more volume sometimes! Very happy with them.

Great sound quality and easy to use. The app is user-friendly.

Really bad ANC, faulty products. Too big and uncomfortable to wear. No find hub feature.

Purchased about a month back and they are excellent. Replaced my original Samsung buds and didnt really know what I was missing out on untill I started using them. Sound quality is top notch and very comfortable fit. A perfect match for my Sony xm6 cans

Excellent earbuds with sound quality and noise cancelling that’s a clear step up from my old Sony WF-1000XM4, and a microphone that performs on another level.

Buds do not fit properly and are actually painful for me. Moving to smaller buds that are comfortable means the ANC becomes ineffective. The app gives an option to contact Sony about ordering other sized earbuds - I did this, and other than the auto response "we have your query" no one has responded to me. Try before you buy!

1st day wearing these and wow I'm impressed. Had a pair of wf1000xm5 and these are way better thankyou sony

So far I cannot fault this product as it fulfilled and exceeded my expectations. I'm also quite happy with the Sony app functionality. If there is one thing which would improve my experience without compromising anything else, it would be the size. A smaller size or different kind of design, would allow me to also wear them in bed if I want to block any outside noises, as well as using it for sleep sounds.

I have the xm4 and 5 - I didn't really think the audio could be improved that much. The many reviews I'd read led me to think I could hope for a modest improvement I'd been on the fence for a couple of weeks but after dropping a bud one more time while my dog was yanking the leash - it stopped working so the decision was made. It's not a little bit better, it's next level. If you want the best and the reviews deterred you - try to sample if you can. There's no comparison. The mid-range frequency response and punchiness is a world beyond the xm5. Bass is the excellent. I had the 5s set to bass boost 7 most of the time. I haven't even messed with the eq on these after 4 days. I don't want to. The new design is a necessary improvement, the buds are easy to grab and it is easier to feel the orientation as you put them in your ear. This is a massive improvement on a product that was already brilliant, despite its flaws. Now it has a few less.

It has poor material and also has problem to close the charger case.
