Sunbeam Auto Clean Blender

Have seen many customers state blade separation and noisy, me too.

Always leaks from Jug or Blades. Can’t even found any spare parts online. Motor parts are perfectly fine. Please also provide parts replacement at least we can replace the needed parts instead of buying new one.

The blender leaks when used to blend sauce and anything liquid.

I bought this Sunbeam PBT3000BK blender sometime back and hardly used it until recently it was used to crush ice. Sadly, it has started to leak and I dont understand why as it is in really good condition and very rarely used. Really disappointed with this blender.

We had bought this blender mainly to make smoothies and it worked fine for a few months however the plastic piece broke off underneath where you place the blender jug and we got it replaced under the 12 months replacement, however the replacement blender has also stopped working when my daughter was trying to blend up a smoothie. Unfortunately this product was not durable enough for such a basic function. The auto clean function was a bonus. It had some good functions and initially did what it said it would but we can’t keep buying this product and replacing it when it breaks or stops working after little and basic use. I won’t be buying this one again.

Was very happy to finally have a decent blender for smoothies and soups until the common problem struck with the plastic apart at the bottom failing. Upon checking the website for FAQS to see if there was a solution, I've seen 20 odd reviews who have all experienced the same problem. Disapointing to see there is no replacement parts.

It was a great blender for the first 3 months, only used once a day for my morning smoothie an maybe in the afternoon for a kids milkshake after school. After 3 months it has stopped working , only the bottom blade spins so wont blend or clean

I loved the blender, just amazing, after a year, the smal piece of plastic that is connected to the metal part of the engine failed, it is like the metal consumed the cheap plastic, how it is possible??

Have had my blender for a few years and very happy with it. However, yesterday it malfunctioned. The small black plastic part that goes between the unit and the blender jug has failed. I see from previous reviews below that this is a common problem. I also read that Sunbeam do not have a replacement part. There is nothing else wrong with this blender. This small plastic part renders the blender useless. This must be a manufacturer problem with the blender. What is Sunbeam going to do to fix this for me?

This is a great blender, for the sorry time it will last you. The functions are great, is reasonably powerful. However the cheap plastic parts let it down. It seems I'm not the only one to experience this issue. The lower clutch assembly, that links the jug blades to the motor, has cover of the spindle and now the whole blender is rendered useless. And after a concerted effort trying to source a spare part to fix it, it seems that the part in question had been discontinued and not replaced. The tragedy of a good machine being let down by inferior parts.... Again...

My jug has broken (I dropped it in the laundry sink while rinsing). Can I buy a new jug? This is a great way to get nutrition to a man who can eat very little.

Looks as though the little black spin part is an issue with this machine … my machine is just out of warranty by a week or so and it has cross shredded ….

I bought this blender about 2 weeks ago, managed to make 7 smoothies and broke on the 8th. Seems like a lot of people here experienced the same problem and that is about the plastic 6-blade that connects to the rotor. Clearly this plastic is not strong enough on this machine. I think if it just to spin by itself it will wear after a while due to heat, let alone crushing ice and other stuff. I used to believe in Sunbeam but not anymore. I tried to order a new piece on-line but can't seem to find it. I think Sunbeam should re-design and send us new piece made from different material rather than soft plastics. Useless machine.

I bought in January 2021then in October 2021it stopped spinning the blades. I called Sunbeam and I tried to buy a replacement part, a plastic cog which connects the blades to the main spindle. Not in stock. The Sunbeam fellow was very nice and apologetic. I took it back to the retail shop and chose another Sunbeam blender with a metal piece rather than a plastic piece, though more expensive.I just hope this doesn't break too. I'm disappointed for a few reasons, the main one is this, not being able to buy the cog meant the blender will go into land fill. Our world is swimming in appliances that can't be repaired.

I recently purchased this blender and today as I was making a banana smoothie, the design of the blades caused a piece of banana to jam in the blade and destroy the plastic part responsible for powering it. I do not recommend this blender at all, it is not efficient and does not blend food properly. Extremely disappointed, I thought sunbeam produced quality appliances, not pieces of plastic garbage.

I was given this blender for my birthday and only used it a few times until the part with the cog's broke. Cant find a spare part for it anywhere. Rubbish.

Apart from being a great blender..the auto-clean function is the real hero!!! Saves a ton of scrubbing and water. With just the push of a button and bam!!

The blender is easy to use with it's 4 preprogrammed functions and autoclean! When I make my smoothie in the morning I don't have to think. Excited to use it for blending my soups in winter and crushing ice for margaritas before summer ends.

Stable and robust, this is a perfect blender for busy families. I love the way the jug pops on to the blender base so easily (there's no twisting so the risk of leaks is minimal) and the range of function-specific touch buttons means you get a great result every time. We use our blender for smoothies, protein shakes and iced coffees (the ice crusher function blitzes ice in seconds). The auto clean function means there's no need to put the jug in the dishwasher and it's always ready to go. Very happy with this blender.

This is a stellar blender - works really well and is used by all the family for smoothies. I use it for silky smooth dips as well. The easy clean is an added bonus. Did I mention mango cocktails? the ice crushes easily and the demand is high!

Cleaning has been the biggest problem with blenders I've had in the past - this one is a keeper!! Plus the powerful ice breaker blade makes this a great essential for my kitchen.
