I’m very disappointed in my sandwich press. It constantly burns the bread before anything melts or cooks inside.

It has been a great subsitute while my gas stove wasn't working. Very nice scrambled eggs, and grilled salmon....

Heats quickly (within a minute or two), toasts evenly, has a height lock lever so you don't squash your food. Big enough for toasting wraps or two toasties, can warm four or five mini pikelets at once. You can lock and store it upright for less bench real estate. I use a flat plastic lift so as not to scratch the surface. We use this sandwich press every day.

I've owned a few sandwich presses over the years and this by far tops the lot. The handbrake on the side lets you lock the top plate at any height so you don't crush you're sandwich and can also hover the top plate if you're cooking bacon and eggs. Quality as to be expected from Sunbeam - this one should last me another 20+ years...

It's great! just what I was after. I like the grill marks on the top and the non-spill bottom plate.

Just the right size for my needs. It is easy to use, love the height adjustment and very easy to store away.

First thing I tried on this little beauty was a fried egg. It came out ok and the press cleaned up easily. We have done toated sandwiches and they came out perfectly. Great little machine.

Purchased one week earlier and not heating at all hardly used four times, as soon as the power on, the Ready light also came on. Now I have to go through the return process, which is a big concern.

I was given this product to test and it’s been amazing. It works well to not only cook food but also to reheat food! The heating plates have a little depth so I can add a bit of liquid to help steam then sear my veges with the grill marks. Toasties also taste fantastic with the grill plates…. Add a little extra butter and olive oil and you get a nice crispy texture. We also love using the sandwich press to reheat cold pizzas and hot chips. Overall, the Sunbeam sandwich press exceeded my expectations. The heat plates ensure the food is cooked evenly and the grill marks provide a nice touch.

I’m very happy with my new sandwich maker. It heats up very fast, and the height control lever is such a great feature. No more squished wraps for breakfast! So good. The non-stick surface and the round corners are game changer, it makes it very easy to clean. I highly recommend this product!

Started using this sandwich press over the last two weeks and it's been really easy to use; the unit heats up quickly in just under 2 minutes and the variable height makes it easy to cook different items, especially useful when you want to just 'hover' the top plate without touching the food. The small footprint when vertical makes it easy to store when not in use as well.

I really like the look and feel of the product, adding a stylish edge to my collection of appliances yet doesn’t take up much room. It’s great for small kitchens and once folded up and standing, frees up my bench top when not in use! I have found the 2 in 1 functionality of being a sandwich maker and a grill super handy, letting me fry up ingredients to go with my sandos without having to pick up a pan. Since getting this sandwich press I have been using it daily. Highly recommend!! I was first unsure about the ribbed top but totally now understand the design because I use this press for more than just sandwiches and cheese toasties. The ribbed top is great for frying halloumi and zucchini’s. The best thing about this sandwich press though, is the adjustable height. Amazing!! No more flattened sandwiches with more cheese on the toaster then in the sandwich or having to make a structure out of cups to hold the lid up. The adjustable height also means that you can cook and reheat things instead of putting a pan on the stove which is great for quick and small (for one person) meals…or at least that’s what I use it for. So much more than just for sandwich! Love it!
