Sunbeam EM0405 Multigrinder II Coffee Grinder

We have had this grinder for 15 months and have had to buy two lids already. Third lid just broke and can’t locate a replacement, and don’t really want to spend on another anyway. No-one at sunbeam has returned my enquire. A new lid would be ideal because apart from that failure the grinder works well.

It has to be cleaned between each operation otherwise it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to screw the top on completely. Then, after the grind, it takes a powerful grip to unscrew the lid. This makes it impractical - NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. I've had to revert to using the Sunbeam grinder that I've had for 20 years.

Lid constantly not fitting correctly....unable to work due to safety lid to hard to place in position!

Hands down, the worst coffee grinder I have ever used. The lid does not fit properly and gets jammed with stuff.Ended up throwing it out wouldn't recommend

Stopped working after a few months of use. Lid hard to screw on. Grinds get caught in lid.

In no way should this product be called a grinder. This is false advertising and misleads buyers

Perfect quality and price balance. Quick and quiet

Not the cheapest on the market, but performs like an inferior brand. Lid doesn't close easily. Only one speed for grinding. Threw it out after only a couple of uses. Would not recommend this model

Grinder is perfect, powerful and quick. My issue is the flimsy plastic clips on the lids, sometimes they break when you click the lid in, or if the lid happens to fall off the grinder onto the bench - 150mm, the plastic clips are sure to break. I purchased several of these, the grinder still works - but the lid renders them useless. I have used Sunbeam for years, but this is such a frustrating issue and Sunbeam do not have a fix for it, nor do fix or they sell replacement lids, meaning the product just goes into landfill which is beyond disappointing.

Great little grinder except for the plastic lid which breaks. I have bought two and both broke in the same place. I won’t bother buying another one.

Have now gone through two off these and I hardly use it. The plastic in the lid breaks and makes it unusable. Stupid design as the lid still secures so it's still safe to use.

Main part works really well and was happy until 2 months in one lid tab broke and then 12 months later the other tab broke meaning I cannot use it. I can't find where to buy a new lid either which would help.

The main unit works well. However! The lid broke very quickly, poor design and plastic parts! The grinder no longer works because the lid is broken. So much waste!!

Coffee grinders are generally overpriced, this Sunbeam is the right price. I bought one for a friend in 2017 and it still works as well as the day I bought it.

Worst coffee grinder I’ve ever purchased the lid gets stuck and I can’t even get it off now as there’s a build up of herbs

Good quality product in reasonable price. You will definitely love it.

Its very easy to use, I get the desired result each time I grind my coffee beans.

easy control over how much you wish to grind your choice of produce. Quick little bursts on the button just chops up the seeds or hold down on the button to turn the seeds into a powder. Love this machine, best thing I have ever bought. If you wish to get the full health benefits from your seeds, this little machine is a must.

Does not grind fine enough. I not really happy with my purchase.

I bought this few weeks back. This is an amazing grinder which grinds almost everything . So easy to use and wash. I would recommend this product to all.

It is simple to work when yor finished you need to give it a little shake before you unscrew the lid

I bought this a few weeks ago and I’m so happy with how quick it come (2 days). Although I use it every day and it’s already getting stuck in lock sometimes. Can take upto 5 people to open it.

Does the trick. i only use for coffee grind and very happy

Whilst it is not the most fancy grinder in the world it seems to do a fairly decent job. I only use it to grind coffee and I recommend this for anyone limited in space and want something small enough that they can just pull out of the cupboard when required I could have easily bought a more expensive coffee grinder but as long as this doesn’t die on me I will be happy with it for now easy enough to use with one arm and simple to clean just make sure the lid is on tight

Great little grinder but the lid is very delicate and the safety lock snapped off after a couple of months so can no longer use.

Design flaw makes this unusable quickly - the ground coffee gets in the lid fastening and the plastic lugs quickly snap off as a result- meaning it won't work. Not impressed. Avoid

As one who much prefers in store shopping and is wary of on line shopping ,doing business this way with JBHiFi was a breeze.Got what we wanted with little delay, considering the current situation.

The lid has a fragile safety feature which breaks off. I cannot find replacement part.

same issue as others -both plastic lugs that are required on lid to operate broke off after a month. Not sure how this ever passed QA test it clearly is badly designed

Great grinder, really fine result, not too noisy - but one of the acrylic plastic lugs which makes contact with the motor starter has snapped off, other is cracked. It no longer works. Still within warranty I guess but frustrating.

This is a terrible coffee grinder . Lid gets stuck after 2nd grind broke on the 3rd
