Sunbeam Fresh Start 2 slice Toaster

I purchased this in the first half of 2025. It worked well to begin with, and then died 15 months after I purchased it (just outside the 12 month warranty period). I wouldn't buy again.

Always have brought Sunbeam Toaster and Kettles. This toaster does not brown.

Toaster broke after one use, the metal bar that stops the toast from falling through to the bottom bent so badly the lever wouldn't do down and the elements weren't working on one side. Can't believe this product hasn't been recalled after seeing all the negative reviews on varies sites. So disappointed as I loved the simple classic design. Returned to Good Guys for a refund.

Bought this toaster for the 2nd time (we broke the lever on our previous one by accident) and was happy to buy this same toaster again. Looks good, toasts good and the price good too

Broke after 1.5 years. Lever will not stay down any more

Compact and does exactly what it says it will. Great.

Lasted just over a year, now out of warranty it won't get replaced. You get what you pay for.

Pros: Doesn’t take up much bench space. Will take up much less of your bench space after it dies Cons: Died 4 months after the 12 month warranty period expired. Crumbs get stuck in the thing even when you tip it upside down.

Clunky and H O T exterior but otherwise great and even toasting too

better than i expected ... and i had read previous reviews so i had reasonably high expectations. solid build, sufficiently wide slots, even toasting ... i would recommend to friends and family still early days so cannot comment on longevity - but the buttons and plunger certainly feel WAY better than my previous two toasters AWESOME value for the money - thanks Sunbeam

Top Class Toaster, Work's very well,It is the first time I have had a toaster that you can lift up the bread to check as it is operating!.

It toasts well different types of bread. Unfortunately the lever broke after 2 months (about 5 to 10 toasts a week) - the photos shows the broken plastic clip inside- may be not a good idea to use plastic in a machine that heats up? Will be returning the toaster today as under warranty - it’s just a hassle to have to return to the shop

This toaster is fantastic. Not only does it look great on the bench top but makes the most even toast I have even had.

Good value for money. It works properly and is simple to use. The stainless steel finish means it looks good in most kitchens.

Only had this for 2 weeks and the lever that you push down to drop the bread in the toaster doesn’t stay down. We have to hold it down with finger to cook!!!!

Toasts in quick enough time. Good even toasting on both sides, from frozen or fresh. High lift function is a nice touch. Had it about 1 month so far and is doing everything it should. Would recommend.
