Caution when pouring from its square spout!

Caution when pouring!! The pouring spout square design is a definite scalding hazard when pouring boiling water from the kettle. Perhaps the manufacturers could review this aspect and consider replacing its design with a pouring spout that is more serviceable such as a pointed type??🤔 Otherwise I find the kettle to be OK!😊

It’s a good kettle

Nothing stands out. It does as it says and a little bit slower than it should.

Bad lid hinge design

Weak point is the lid hinge - held together by some small plastic. It's a poor design and breaks off eventually leaving you with a unusable lid.

Rusted after 3 years !

Never paid so much for a kettle and won't again. After just three years the base is rusted and no way of cleaning or improving. Have replaced with something that looks identical but almost a third cheaper and with a 3 year warranty.

Good job sunbeam

Very quiet and quick to boil. Only 4 stars due to advertised that it stays warm for quite a while after it’s boiled but I’ve found that it doesn’t, and the spout has to be tipped quite far forward for water to pour out.

Poor choice

Doesn’t pour well - has a lip water gets stuck in and is very noisy. Hoping it breaks soon

Sunbeam kettle

Fantastic kettle, boils quickly. Only negative is it is pretty heavy

Great for Families with Kids

Really like the double walled kettle. Even straight after boiling, it's relatively cool to touch so even if the kiddies got to it they'd probably be ok. My only complaint is the spout, which seems to be very high compared to the water level and thus you have to lean the kettle over a lot to pour it out. It just doesn't flow all that well.

Disappointed

I bought this kettle to replace another glass kettle from Sunbeam. I was very happy with the ealier model but this one is a dud. It has couple of faults; the spout does not pour well at all and combined with a poorly balanced handle makes it difficult not to spill hot water when pouring into a cup. I'm sure that Sunbeam can do better.

New glass kettle

It’s heavier than expected and I removed the filter so it would pour easier.

Not bad

Ok overall and boils fairly fast. However the lever on the lid to open sticks half way sometimes and water comes out slow when first pouring almost at a dribble rate sometimes.

Overpriced considering it lasted 1yr 3mths

This is the most expensive kettle I've ever purchased and it lasted the shortest amount of time. The lid sometimes sticks and doesn't open properly. It's quite heavy. The plastic on/off switch feels flimsy and loose. The blue light doesn't really light up the water the way it looks on the box. Waste of money considering it died after 1 year.

Great Kettle

We have now had this kettle for three years and its still going strong. its easy to see the level of water in it and the blue light looks good when on.

Disappointed

I was so excited to have a glass kettle with a lovely blue light but found a few things that weren’t good. Firstly it’s lid doesn’t spring open every time & it pours either way too much or very little so it’s hard to get the exact amount. It’s also lot heavier than my old S/S kettle so it’s not as easy to use.

Poor design

I bought this kettle to try the double-wall design, but I regret it. The design of this kettle is one of the worst I've ever used. - Difficult to control how much water comes out when pouring. It's either all or nothing. - Pouring spout doesn't direct water into a single strait line. - Cheap chrome plastic used in some places that don't match the brushed metal. - Plastic on on/off switch is loose. - Lid mechanism clicks like it's broken.
