To long to boil

It takes so long to boil and there is so much stream coming out that it has spoiled some of the food in my pantry. I’m not if it’s a faulty or if this is just the way it is. Bought it in July. Planning to go and return it and try to get refund or replacement with another model. And most of the water gets evaporated by the time it boils.

Takes a longer to warm/boil water, and hot/ very hot water in kettle doesn’t stay warm It cools down quickly inside the kettle.
