TCL OneTouch 4042S P2 4G (Dark Night Grey)

As a First phone, there is nothing that you could possibly dislike of this phone: Spacious screen, Impressive battery life, and Surprisingly durable, even after resting what was probably 1/4 of my weight on it. Even after that, my phone still functions like nothing ever happened, even though I thought that an internal component was damaged. Just one thing: Its Bluetooth Compatibility. Apparently, this phone will not function at its best performance at devices that run over Bluetooth version 5.0, because the versions over that run at a higher bandwidth, which can lead to some song skips and annoyances. So If your Navy blue JBL Go 4 starts forgetting how to hit the high notes, that's why. Personally, I use this with a headset that runs on Bluetooth 3.0, which sounds like the audio quality you might imagine from a old radio found in an outdoor shed, But actually, I could walk all the way to half the distance of my house and my Headset delivers the sound it should without any skips. So basically, that's the TCL Onetouch 4042S for you. Just don't use it with something running over v5. I hope that makes your purchase much more insightful Cheers.

UNFIT FOR PURPOSE! DO NOT BUY THIS! There is no loud speaker. It rings quieter than a standard phone. The advertised key features we purchased the product for were not provided, the ring tone was completely unable to be heard as opposed to every other standard phone we tested it against and it was unfit for purpose which is illegal under consumer law. As an Occupational Therapist, I am disgusted that you would market a product as having features to support people with a disability that are unfit for purpose and make their lives even harder.

This phone is easy to use, I opted to get this phone because I don’t need anything but music so this was my best bet! Great price and love how I can not worry about my phone slipping out of my hand when I’m walking around. Make old phones back to date!! So much simpler!
