Worst headphones ever

Hands down the worst headphones I’ve ever used. Honestly, I have no idea if these reviews are legit or not because I’ve had issues with every single thing about these headphones. The left ear bud, then the right ear bud, then the entire charging case?! I’ve googled all the issues and they seem to be very common problems (ear buds not charging, unit case not charging, squeaking through one ear or another when the ambient noise feature is turned on etc). I literally only use them when I’m going to sleep to listen to my podcasts. Sound quality is average at best, they’re uncomfortable, don’t sit in the ear well despite changing sizes of the little rubber bits. Complete waste of money. Would rate them lower if I could.

Impressive Sound

Very happy with the fit after using the noise leakage test and wearing for a few weeks. Audio quality is impressive, and noise cancelling is very respectable for an ear bud. Good enough that I can hear my own music only in a loud gym!

Amazing!

These are so good! I have tried the Bose QC Ultra 2s, Sony WF1000XM5s, Nothing Ear 3s and Samsung Buds 3 pro and the AZ100s blow them all out of the water! The noise cancelling isn't as good as the QC Ultra 2s but the sound quality, mic quality, app features and everything else are so much better. Bose, Sony and others ought to be very concerned...

SO Over rated and SO disappointed.

After reading all the reviews and doing much research for my next set of earbuds I was incredibly disappointed. My old Sony Buds S were WAY better in every respect for less than half the price. The ANC is total crap, can hear everything like I have nothing in my ears at all. Sound is nothing special whats so ever. MAJOR disappointment in EVERY respect.

Lovely Sonic Soundstage and 3-Device Concurrent Bluetooth Connectivity Makes this an Excellent Buy!

Excellent. After reviewing the WhatHi-Fi review of the best noise cancelling and hi-fidelity bluetooth earbuds, I found the Bose Quiet Comfort 2.0 buds that I've had for the last 3 years rather "Flat" sonically. Also the ability to pair 3 devices concurrently is just a game changer. Connect to your Mobile, your Personal Mac and then Corporate Microsoft HP Laptop all at the same time is just amazing. The EAH-AZ100 has decent noise cancelling, but for me it's the Auto-Device switching and sonic ability that is just such a breath of fresh air compared to the Bose Quiet Comfort buds.

Value for money regardless of the price!

These seem to be a hidden gem, I have tried a lot of headphones but of the current generation of popularity and what not.. I own the current sony WH and WF XM5 and have owned XM4 and XM3. Granted for the price of these you would expect premium. However they have something up on the bose which I have owned and actually returned under their 30 day try policy. Which is comfort. These things out of the case are just so comfortable and quality instantly. The case itself as well is a nice brushed aluminium I think? Or a light steel. Either way very nice. Quick set up, and the premade settings are also really good, amazing base in these it's incredible. The noise cancelling is amazing, I bought these for the gym mainly and far out are gym speakers loud. Plus I don't know if it's a setting but when you pause your audio the noise cancelling changes or the mic activates, which is good because I only pause when someone approaches me for something. First review of a product, and I have bought a lot of head/ear phones. Steel series for gaming, technics for audio!

Disappointed

I really want to love these earbuds, the sound is amazing. I have spent the last two weeks fiddling with different sized earpieces pieces trying to get the comfortable fit and great noise cancellation that I’d read about but haven’t found it. I have found the fit very uncomfortable and the noise cancellation really disappointing. My old earbuds were the Bose quiet comfort and I really regret not going with Bose again.

Unbelievable sound quality but problems charging

The sound from these ear buds are phenomenal. But good luck keeping them charge. Everytime I go to use mine the right ear bud says battery low. Terminals have been cleaned but problem continues. The magnets that hold the earbuds in position in the case do not feel very strong - perhaps that is the problem. I would suggest googling this issue on these earbuds before buying them - I am not the only person complaining about this problem on these earbuds.

Technics compared to jabra

Great audio, but overall let down. The noise cancellation is abit crap, can hear every wind/car/passing noise, and they are not great for running/exercising, with the annoying ‘thud thud thud’ in your ear with every step. Even the control buttons on the side are annoying - they ar so sensitive that will turn on just from wearing a beanie or headwrap covering your ear, but then strangely won’t respond to you trying to press button again through said material - you have to then go underneath to get your skin on the button…then it will immediately be triggered again when the material lies against it! I was a huge jabra fan and I can’t believe these cost more than jabra when I would pay double to have jabra elite actives back on the market

Hi fi on a different level .

I just upgraded from Sony XM4 earbuds , which were replaced under warranty after a software update destroyed the battery life. The new Sony's sounded good ordered then Ah100's. Initially the sound difference was not massive. But watched a few reviews and slightly tweaked the settings. Must day the Technics app is far superior to the Sony one , great for us Audiofiles. WOW. What an amazing difference. The soundstage is vast , with real separation of each instrument. I used a few tracks to demo , one of which was The stragglers "skin deep". Right from the onset the bass was rich and tight the mid and highs were very clear . I swear I could hear the amount of pressure the keyboard player was pressing on the keys. Amazing. If you love your music the AH100's are a must buy and at $100 off list good value too. Buy them and enjoy your music like you have never heard it before

Disappointed

Sound is excellent. Microphone quality is awful. Even in quiet spaces, my audience complains my voice is soft and distant. Can't really use for calls. Fit is poor. Conch shape is flat on the inside, making for an uncomfortable fit. General feel of the product (in hand) is cheap, as is the fit in the case. Button functionality (taps vs long hold etc) is unintuitive and different between audio-only vs calls. Upgraded from older Jabra 75t. Shame Jabra stopped selling earphones.

Excellent

I lost my Jabra Elite Active 8s that I loved 6 months ago. Jabra has left the earbud space and I couldn't buy them again. Technics AZ100s got the best reviews so I bought them. Better than the Jabras in all ways other than waterproofing, but that is all. Very comfortable with great multiple connectivity and really clear sound. I use them principally for podcasts etc not for music so I cannot comment on that. They are excellent, best I've ever had. I now prefer them to my Sony over ear MX5 headphones.

Ok but not great

Not as good as everyone claims. Uncomfortable after awhile. Loose fit in the charging box. Magnets not very strong

Best Wireless Earbuds 2025

So far the best sounding wireless earbuds in 2025. I have tried other earbuds like Bose qc and ultra, they are good, but techincs EZ100 steps ahead in terms of sound quality, each and every bits are crystal clear and has got lots of options in the app!
