Technics AZ80 Premium True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones (Black)

Seating the earbuds into the case is finicky. If you don't place them in there 'just right' they flash red at you and don't charge. You usually only realise this after you've come back and need to use them again and one of the other hasn't charged properly. The case battery life isn't as good as other brands but the price point and other features make up for this. I really like all other aspects of the earphones though, great for running, meetings and general use. I wouldn't buy these again based on the charging issues with the earphones though.

At first I was happy with the headphones, but left earbuds has died completely. I've looked at my warranty and it's 1 month out of warranty!!! I thought these are going to last...well 13 months! Also, I barely used them, like 3-4 hours a week!! I AM NEVER GOING TO BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN!!! These earbuds do not lasts! Mind you I paid $400 for headphones to leave 13 months...how is it even legal

I had these just over a year and have noticed severe sound degradation to the point of replacing, much more so than a standard pair of Samsun ones after a year of use which is very disappointing considering the price. If purchasing get the extended warranty and get a few pairs out of them or just save your money

Sound quality was good in a quiet room but noise cancelling was really bad - sounded no better than a $50 pair of headphones on the train or at the gym. The fit was really uncomfortable, I’d constantly find myself fiddling with the buds in my ears and accidentally changing songs. Final straw broke when I realised the buds weren’t connecting properly to my iPhone, so I couldn’t answer calls while the headphones were connected. Something I’ve never had an issue with from numerous other headphones.

Truly amazing sound quality, design, features and software. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase

After having jabra elite 4 and elite 10, to me these knock the elite 10 out of the park. These earbuds are bringing out beats/tunes/sounds I didn't even know existed in songs I've been listening to for years. Def more than enough bass. Crystal clear sound. Can't fault. Glad I went with technics.

Great sound and fit but even though I love the branch sadly not the same performance as the Sony WF-1000XM4 they replaced. The Sony's had a far better noise cancellation, better battery life when new, louder and cheaper at full rrp. The Techics do sit and fit better in the ear profile, so you don't feel them while a sleep, plus look the poo. Just wished they performed as good as the Sony's if not better for the price.

I Purchased these on sale 7 weeks ago , sounds is great! although the volume could be a little louder. The bluetooth connection is excellent. The issue I have is the case , it's easily damaged. My Jabra's case Ive had for a few years are indestructible and I wish these were made the same way

Excellent frequency response and detail, no other TWS comes close and this may well be the first TWS that actually falls towards the audiophile class rather than consumer electronics - sure a $500 set of wired IEMs will sound better, but for convenience and legitimately excellent detail and a more "audiophile" frequency response, no other TWS comes close. Fantastic.

I was gifted the Technics EAH-AZ80 in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic’s website. I was a little hesitant at first. After all, I am fairly rigid in the tech I buy; once I have it, I rarely bother deviating or trying new products. The set-up was a little bothersome, having to download the app, and cycle through the little earpieces to find the right fit. It could be that my hands are too clumsy. I honestly couldn't really tell the difference between the different sizes. But once the app was happy, I was on my way. First of all, wow! I thought I knew noise-cancelling. But this is next level! I work in a field that requires me to focus on recorded interviews. I usually achieve noise cancellation through really expensive headphones. So I was in the perfect position to contrast the two. I must say, with the level of control that the app brings, I was soon very glad for the bother of the initial download. Never have I been able to customise my experience before! I also greatly enjoyed taking phone calls on the move. My usual buds usually get drowned out by the wind, both for me as the speaker and listener. Not so with Technics EAH-AZ80! Crystal clear sound, and with all those microphones listening out for my words, none of the conversation gets lost in the wind! If you're sitting on the fence like I was, do yourself a favour, commit to trying this product and you will be glad for all the effort!

I have used numerous noise cancelling products but this is my go to from now on. Do yourself a favour and go buy a pair!

It doesn't get loose or needing to adjust every time. I like to listen to music with these any time! One thing I love is the noise cancelling function. I will bring these on the airplane and I think it will work wonders to cancel those noisy sound in the aircraft. I can't wait.

Firstly, the Technic EAH-AZ80 wireless earbuds are pretty fantastic. Opening the box and seeing the lux and classy design of the charge case with the earbuds inside - beautiful. They're tiny, wireless and look slick - they look great when you are wearing them. They pack a solid 7 hours of battery life. Toss them in the charger, and bam! you've got 24 hours of wireless goodness. They've got great active noise cancelling and a transparency mode for when you need to be aware of your surroundings - such as going for a run or having to be alert of your surroundings. Best of all, they can connect to 3 devices at a time! Let's break it down! Sound: I love noise cancellation. I am also very picky with it, as I have been a big fan of noise cancellation for many years. The EAH-AZ80 does not disappoint! One thing I want to highlight is that it doesn't have the heavy feeling of noise cancellation being pushed into your head like some other devices - which can lead to a headache. The EAH-AZ80 has one of the most comfortable noise cancellation I have experienced, which didn't need any getting used to! The transparency mode has been fantastic on this as well - the external sound feels projected into your ears, which has been great as I can hear conversations more clearly and the sound of my crying infant when I need to hear it! I'm not the best at describing music, but you can tell that the quality of the sounds on this device hits the sweet spot. Pumped some punk rock music while washing the dishes and you can clearly differentiate the different instruments being played - which is something I look for when listening to music on new earbuds/earphones. Controls: They don't have physical buttons but have touch controls - which come with instructions and are also adjustable through the app. It took me a bit to get the hang of the touch controls, but after a while, it became second nature. Each earpiece has different tap functions, with multiple taps resulting in different actions - pause, play, noise cancellation, transparency mode, next song, etc Connectivity: One sweet feature is that you can connect these bad (good) boys to three devices at once. I use them for my commute to listen to music on my personal phone, connect them to my work laptop once I get to the office and connect them to my work phone to take work calls! Added bonus - I also set it up to connect to my Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch when I want to play on the go! Overall it plays nicely with any and every bluetooth device I've connected it to. Fit: Everyone is made differently and so we've all got different comfort levels with earbuds. The EAH-AZ80's come with a generous amount of ear tip options, which is the first I've seen - 7 in total! Amazingly, I guess I am an average person because the medium size tips fit me perfectly. Once you plug them into your ears, you just give it a little twist and it locks in comfortably. Also, they look slick and stylish as they dont stick out like other earbuds. Great for all settings. You can even use them 1 earbud at a time! Battery: Each charge has 7 hours of battery life - but I haven't reached that point. As I pop them on and off throughout the day. I've been able to use the device over multiple days without worrying about the battery - which is a great feeling. App: The app to tweak your audio settings through an equaliser, allow you to switch between your phones voice assistant or connect it with Alexa (which is picked up automatically by your alexa app) and help you find your earbuds if you misplace them. Overall: I've actually fallen in love with the EAH-AZ80. I've carried it with me over the past 2 weeks everywhere I went. To the office, during my train rides, my jog around the block and all the way to the delivery room while I waited for my wife to give birth. They are fantastic "on the go" earbuds that you can use anywhere, everywhere for all types of settings. I've been using my EAH-AZ80 for the past 2 weeks - I was gifted the Technics EAH-AZ80 in exchange for an honest review on Panasonic’s website. after i bought this product i have been using it all day, and wow, i could wear them all day without any discomfort. it has amazing audio quality, and noise-canceling which further enhances my use for all-day purposes. I have used 5 other earbuds, and the AZ80 is at a different level. it may be a bit pricy for some people, but I could comfortably say that you will not regret buying this as you will enjoy every aspect of the earbuds

Admittedly I was skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality noice cancelling features. I trialled them in a full office today and all calls were crystal clear with no background noise. I have been using them all day and have barely made a dent in the battery life, not to mention the fact that I won’t have to untangle my corded headphones ever again!! Great sound (lows, mids and highs) - in my ears its a tad better that the Sony WF1000XM4 Fit - it tends to lean outward on my ears and the Sony although bulky was a better fit. More eartips to chose from. Price - expensive. If i wasn't gifted a gift card, it will be hard for me to pay for this in full although I still might as I have no plans in getting another Sony when they toasted the WF1000XM4 battery with their updates.
