TexStyle 9 Steam Iron SI9684DB

Very pleased with my choice of a new iron. Heavier than my old one but much more efficient. Springs to life from rest mode without delay. No beeping which I like! Very smart looking iron which requires little effort. Glides easily over fabric and steam function is effective.

Great iron. Not having to choose a setting is great. It’s not super heavy or light. The colour of the water tank could be lighter, to make it easier to see the water level. It does get hot-but I find I have to wait a bit for it to get hot enough for linen. Glad I got it on sale. Easy to use & cord could be a little longer but it still works fine.

We recently said goodbye to our old iron after it completely ruined one too many items of clothing - which were vapourised due to the unpredictable temparature setting, or leaving permanent marks from the clothes it had melted over the years that had stuck to it's surface. So I was very sceptical about the lack of temperature settings on this iron - it only has steam settings - but my sceptisim soon melted away like our old clothes! It is amazing! Irons perfectly every time, with creases disappearing instantly. If I could cuddle it without getting third degree burns, I would! 10/10!
