Wife not happy, quite disappointing

I put a lot of effort into getting a blender the same size as the one that had just died, with good reviews. It's supposed to be the best at mixing well without stuff under the blades not getting mixed, but wife reckons it's the worst!!?? She also reckons it should have come with a custom stick to mix stuff... apparently they should seal ni the lid so you can mix while blending without risk of touching the blades. I don't see any evidence that it is a faulty item, just apparently it isn't living up to my expectation from reviews.
