The Thurston Knit Blanket was designed by Séverin Millet, a French artist who graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. He works across painting, ceramics and sculpture, and his work is regularly exhibited in France and Taiwan.

Description

GimmeNow

The Thurston Knit Blanket brings his bold, expressive approach to nature into a richly layered composition with sweeping organic forms in deep navy, red and forest green that feel like they're still in motion, with a looseness and energy that makes it hard to look away.

Every Slowdown Studio knit blanket starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into art-inspired homewares. The Thurston Knit Blanket is made in the USA from a high-quality blend of cotton and recycled polyester which makes it soft, durable, and built to last without pilling or bleeding. Use it on your couch, your bed, or wherever you need a little colour or personality.
