Be Cautious

Definitely be cautious! They mention weapons that only adults handle… sounds similar to gum… and of course there’s the crocodile eating children part which isn’t that terrible but can cause nightmares depending on the child. Overall the language is just not something I expected. Will be returning !!! I’ve never had to return a tonie before.

Brilliant narrators

My 6 yo son received this for Christmas. He didn’t know the stories so was reluctant to give it a go but now it is one of his favourites. He finds the stories funny and engaging. The narrators are fantastic! Good value for money as three good length stories.

Funny stories, great narrator!

I bought this for my daughter who is currently obsessed with crocodiles. The stories are so funny and Steven Fry as the narrator is the icing on the cake. She loves it and we love listening too! Highly recommend.

Bought for my daughter’s fifth birthday and she loves it

Bought for my daughter’s fifth birthday and she loves it. We have lots of tonies and she was bought several for her birthday but this is a firm favourite and bother her and her sister who is seven pick this Tonie nearly every night. The narrators read the stories fantastically, I would definitely recommend buying.

Enjoyable, educational and great value

Amazing to have three such wonderful stories, read by such amazing and very different people (Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and the book illustrator himself, Quentin Blake) all on this one figurine. My 3-year old loves them all; the wonderful diction and great vocabulary are brushing off on her, and in addition, she now wants a pet tortoise…!
