Extreme painful reaction

I've been using the Total Gum Care toothpaste for a while now and just recently started using the new formula when my old one ran out. I had the most painful reaction to this new formula. It burnt the inside of my mouth. It made my tongue, teeth and gums, extremely sore and my lips were swollen. I thought it was just this toothpaste so I tried the Total Active Prevention Deep Clean and it was the same. Why did you need to change something that was already good. Very disappointed as I've been a loyal Colgate user for decades. Now I don't know which toothpaste to use. I expect a refund on the 3 tubes that I bought as I cannot use them anymore.

Bring back the old formula please!

Please bring back the old Total 12 Pro Gum Health formula. The new formula has an awful pink colour and even worse taste. It does not leave a fresh feeling in the mouth during or after brushing. Sadly, may be forced to look for an alternative brand.

A touch too tingly on the tongue

The feel and texture of the toothpaste is fine, however not long after brushing you get this “hot”tingling feeling on your tongue. The taste is a very strong mint flavour and I wasn’t a huge fan. I prefer a toothpaste that has a milder flavour.

Toothpaste

After using this product for some time, I wouldn’t say it was my favourite, it was a every smooth paste, left your month feeling clean, I’m just used to a peppermint flavour paste. Possibly wouldn’t buy again.

Great tasting fresh breath

This toothpaste did not have an overpowering flavour which was nice. It helped reduce my gum bleeding and left me with fresh breath. Not ab overwhelming small which is good. Would recommend

Highly recommend

After using the Colgate Total Active Prevention toothpaste for the last 4 weeks, I would highly recommend this to others. I have noticed an improvement in my gum health. It helps to keep my teeth clean and has reduced gum redness.

Didn’t really like it

Didn’t really like this toothpaste it was too minty I didn’t see much of a difference the tube is tiny I wouldn’t buy

Good product

Leaves a nice clean feeling in your mouth and leaves your breath very fresh. I'm not sure if the gum care actually makes a difference. Maybe with prolonged use it would be more noticeable.

Surprising

This really surprised me. I usually use Colgate sensitive or sensodyne as I have receding gums and very sensitive teeth but this worked really well. I enjoyed the taste but the pink colour was really off-putting when spitting the foam out. Overall I will continue using the entire tube.

Feels clean and fresh!

The toothpaste does a good job of cleaning and protecting the gums without feeling too harsh. It has a refreshing smell and leaves my mouth feeling clean for hours! Even better, the formula helps prevent plaque and keeps my gums healthy!
