No battery power so not i have to go out and get an uncommon battery

Fast and accurate

Best thermometer I’ve used in over 50 years. My husband has been running a temperature on and off for the past 24 hours. The thermometer reading aligned with how warm his forehead felt every time I took his temperature, including returning to green each time his fever temporarily subsided and he felt normal and cool. I love the large display and the quick 8 second reading. The various coloured LED backgrounds (green, orange, red) are particularly useful during nighttime readings. The thermometer is easy to clean and comes with a handy plastic case. It seems it will be simple to change the long-life battery when needed, too. I purchased two of these in case we get sick at the same time. Money well spent.
