Woolworths Free From Gluten Gingernut Biscuit 155g

Tasty Ginger Biscuits. I used to love ginger nut biscuits when I was younger, but found as I aged they were no good for my teeth as they were too hard. These WW gluten free ginger biscuits had a lovely ginger flavour without being overpowering and I didn’t find them overly sweet. They are a nice crunchy biscuit, but not a tooth breaker. We have bought a lot of gluten free biscuits as some people in our family are ceoliac, and found these as good as many others we have tried. In fact you wouldn’t know they were gluten free if you didn’t see the packet. They are lovely with a tea or coffee and would be great softened in a mini muffin tray, shaped into a tart shape and filled with something yummy. Obviously if you don’t like ginger you wouldn’t like them, but we were fans and I would buy them. They are great value at $2. 90 for 155g, as a lot of other gluten free biscuits are much more expensive. I would recommend these.

Too hard to enjoy. We found these biscuits too hard like you would crack a tooth biting into them. We dipped in tea which made them more enjoyable. Nice flavour just too hard.

A nice gluten free biscuit. Some gluten free items I find have a chalky texture- I did not experience that with these at all. I really couldn’t tell that they were gluten free. The flavour wasn’t too bitey and had a lovely su toe flavour. A serving suggestion is microwave for a few seconds at a time till they become pliable and make into a small cup shape by bending over a muffin tin. You can then fill with sweet toppings such as quick refrigerated cheese cake which is cream cheese and condensed milk mixed with a little lemon and vanilla essence (optional add gelatine for a more firm filling). Or fill with boiled in a can condensed milk to make a firm caramel and voila delight treats!

Nice but not my cup of tea. I was looking forward to trying these as the ingredients and overall quality seemed quite good. Unfortunately, the taste just wasn’t for me. I found the flavour and texture disappointing, and I couldn’t finish the packet. I also shared them with my family, and they didn’t enjoy them either. It’s great to have more gluten-free options available, but this one wasn’t a hit in our household.

Love these biscuits. Ideal biscuits for anyone needing to avoid gluten. They are very crunchy and do not have the grainy texture you get from a lot of other gluten-free products. I also equally enjoy them softer, after the packet has been opened for a couple of days. These biscuits are an absolute must in my pantry.

It's ok. I hardly buy gluten free snacks so when i got the opportunity to try this i was excited. In my opinion its ok.. its not bad but also not the best biscuits. Its too crunchy for my liking but subtle ginger flavor its good. Nice for coffee i supposed. I would expect to be more flavourful but maybe its hard with gluten free restriction.

Surprised with taste. Really enjoyed these. More of a ginger taste but not too strong.
