XCD Essentials Powered HDMI Splitter V2

Bought to split a 4k nvr security system it worked perfectly. It comes with the usb cable for the power but you need the power adapter or power board with usb connection

This product was great. I’ve seen bad reviews but it worked perfectly for me. Make sure if you purchase this you have the power connected to it, it’s not a simple adapter it needs a power source. Great product highly recommend

This is a piece of junk. Not sure if the people who had it bought it from JB-HIFI or not. This caused issues sending out static through to both monitors. The computer already had VGA, DP and HDMI output, so i used VGA and DP for the monitors and HDMI was for the external TV

This also does not work with two screens but only displays one or the other. tried to replace hdmi cables

I was recommended this splitter by JB staff and it I tried multiple configurations with multiple screens, laptops and cables and at no stage did this thing work. There are no instructions, so just went by what the box said, which was clearly incorrect. I love JB Hi-Fi, but this is the worst piece of tech I've bought from them.
