Zero-X ZX-10 Full HD Action Camera

It's same hardware as a cheap dashcam from 2010, but buggier. The video quality is terrible. It internally tries to record at 30fps, but most frames are doubled up or tripled. You get around 15 unique frames per second and it's got huge stutter. It uses the MJPEG codec, which just stores each frame as a JPEG. It blows through over 7GB/hour because or this. The audio (11KHz PCM) is 1/4 the sample rate of CD audio and sounds equally terrible.

You cannot change the default wifi password 01234567890 without the app - but the app is so old that you cannot install it on a a modern Android phone.

Complete waste of money, the power button stopped working after 6 or 7 shoots, video quality is terrible, Its complete rip off.

Picture quality is terrible, apparently 1080p. It could have been really good, easy to use loads of accessories.

Inside the waterproof case you need to push the buttons harder or longer. Now the record button doesn’t work. That’s $65 down the drain as I didn’t keep the receipt. No more action cameras for me.

It’s not a product for 2020’s, too much money for this

No good, all money spent on marketing with a pretty looking box! My screen glitched as soon as I tried to charge it, getting a refund on this. Disappointed as I was looking forward to using it out on my boat, pays to do some research prior!

Terrible camera. After a few minutes of usage and only one photo, the thing crashed and after hours of spending time on it, nothing worked to fix it. So I ended up going to my ski trip without being able record anything.

Don't waste your money. Faulty when setting up. Returned for refund.

Camera completely stopped working 2 days after purchasing, had to wait for battery to die. Overall it's not bad for the price and has nice accessories but is very unreliable and looks really grainy for '1080P'.

It stopped working within 10 minutes of usage. The screen completely glitched out and the picture is poor. Complete rip off

Absolute garbage Battery didn't even last 10 minutes Charge overnight several times and the longest the Battery would last was less than 10 minutes Will be taking this back and getting a refund

It is what it is , works well , will be good during the day , uncertain about low light levels

Usable but clarity is poor and frame rate is low. Jerky, grainy video even for 1080p. It’s cheap, so my expectations were low but still it underdelivered.

It is reasonably clear but the end video is quite unstable which makes it a bit hard to watch.

Frame rate is around 20 fps which is very disappointing for an "action" camera. Otherwise, sound and picture quality is not bad. Do not sign up to the Zero-X web site, because even though there is an option box, you can't unsubscribe from spam email.

Great little cameras - I bought two. Have mounted both in their waterproof cases. One under my bicycle handlebars and the other on my pannier rack behind the seat. Now I have records of everywhere I ride and any incidents that happen.
